Langham Hall is strengthening its management team in Luxembourg with the return of Tatyana Boger. This appointment comes at a time when the operational and regulatory requirements for investment funds are becoming increasingly complex.

Langham Hall, which specialises in fund administration, is capitalising on its experience to support Luxembourg’s growing influence in the private markets by announcing, on Thursday 11 June, the return of Tatyana Boger to head its fund administration business in the Grand Duchy, a strategic role in a financial centre facing ever-increasing demands in terms of governance, reporting and fund structuring.

This appointment marks the return of a leader who knows the company inside out. Having joined Langham Hall in 2015, Tatyana Boger spent over ten years there and contributed to the development of the Luxembourg business. She notably held the position of Head of Administration before leading several strategic projects across the group. She returns following a stint as a partner at a professional services firm. Based in Luxembourg, she will oversee fund administration activities in collaboration with the teams responsible for operations, the custodian, client services and AIFM functions.

According to Elijah Kanevskiy, head of Langham Hall in Luxembourg, who was appointed last February, Changes in the financial centre are highlighting the need for experienced professionals. “Luxembourg is becoming increasingly demanding from an operational perspective for fund managers, particularly as reporting obligations, governance requirements and investor expectations continue to rise,” he emphasises in the press release. Founded in London in 2006, Langham Hall now administers over $230bn in assets across more than 750 funds and manages over $200bn in custodial assets. The group has around 900 employees across ten offices in Europe, the United States and Asia, including Luxembourg, London, New York, Hong Kong and Singapore.
