DeWidong, Ensa and the CSL are to pool their resources to develop continuing professional development for healthcare professionals. The agreement sets out a framework for cooperation, though it does not yet specify the training programmes, the timetable or the funding.

The DeWidong centre for continuing professional development (CFPC), the National School of Health (Ensa) and the Chamber of Employees (CSL) aim to work together to organise continuing professional development in the healthcare sector. The three organisations signed a partnership agreement on Wednesday 16 September.

The partners plan to pool their expertise, educational resources and organisational capabilities. The aim is to help healthcare professionals update their knowledge, acquire new skills and adapt to changing practices.

A joint tripartite committee will be responsible for identifying needs, selecting the initiatives to be developed and monitoring their implementation. DeWidong will contribute its experience in continuing professional development, Ensa its expertise and certain specialist facilities, whilst the CSL will help to define employees’ needs and facilitate their access to training.
