Francesco Micillo’s Neapolitan-style pizzas, known for their fluffiness, have once again received top honours in the 50 Top Pizza ranking, which rewards the best pizzas and pizzerias in the world and in Europe. Cloud Factory is the only pizzeria in the country to feature in the ranking, and this for the third year running. The rankings are drawn up by anonymous inspectors who assessed the pizzerias according to a number of criteria, such as the quality of the dough and ingredients, but also the service, atmosphere and consistency in the customer experience.
Cloud Factory launched its business in the middle of Covid, in the form of a ghost kitchen in Neudorf, before opening a larger restaurant in Esch-sur-Alzette in October 2022. In May 2025, a third restaurant opened in Merl, at 55 Rue de Vianden.

The menu offers around 15 pizza recipes, from classics like Margherita, Valtellina and lior di latte to limited editions like the Il Vole by Luxair, created by the bosses during one of their flights with Luxair to Naples! Great attention is paid to the quality of the products, in particular the cheese and charcuterie, sourced from Italy.
You can also try panuozzi, a speciality from the Campania region that takes the form of an Italian sandwich, but with pizza dough as the base instead of bread. It is baked in the shape of a baguette, cut lengthways and stuffed with various ingredients.
