They are the Luxembourg of tomorrow. They have a head full of ideas and an insane desire to make them a reality. What do they have in common? They are under 40 and represent Luxembourg’s #Nextgen. Each day, discover the portraits of these 100 women and men who make up the new face of the country. Today, Pierre Pereira da Silva, CEO of Foozo.

Originally from Rio, Pierre Pereira da Silva moved to Paris at the age of 17 to study economics. The 36-year-old arrived in Luxembourg at an investment fund focused on renewable projects, where he became project manager. In 2017, Pierre co-founded Foozo, a meal delivery company. “Bringing joy to its customers" is Foozo’s aim. Under his leadership, the company has become the Luxembourg market leader in connected fridges and has forecast 50% growth by 2023.

Passionate about the food sector, the entrepreneur has turned challenges into opportunities, despite a difficult period during the covid-19 crisis. The Brazilian works almost 14 hours a day, because “at my level, the responsibilities are enormous and they don’t wait.” What are his values? Collaboration, the environment and the quest for excellence.
