Autumn is undoubtedly THE season for the motoring world, particularly with the Paris Motor Show (12-18 October in Paris), but above all with these new electric models – some of which are highly anticipated – coming onto the market. Here are four of them.

Leapmotor B05

The Chinese manufacturer is launching a new model with a silhouette reminiscent of a concept car: frameless doors and a large panoramic roof. Inside, the cabin has a minimalist yet highly digital feel, featuring a large central screen. Its rear-wheel-drive platform promises more dynamic handling than the segment average.

From €25,400, range of up to 482km

Volkswagen ID. Cross

The new ID. Cross, due to be launched in Europe in mid-October, is a compact and versatile SUV with the clean, simple lines typical of Volkswagen. Designed for both everyday use and weekend getaways, it offers a cosier feel rather than a high-tech one. That’s typical of VW, once again.

From €36,660, range of up to 436km

Audi A2 e-tron

This compact car marks the return of an unconventional model, in a fully electric version. Aerodynamic and designed for everyday use, it prioritises efficiency without compromising the brand’s premium positioning. Its final design remains partly under wraps, but Audi promises ‘an optimised and connected interior’.

From €38,200, range of up to 649km

BMW i3 Saloon

The i3 Saloon heralds a new era for the brand with the Neue Klasse generation. Inside the cabin, minimalism meets digital technology. The German manufacturer promises a more intuitive and precise driving experience, true to its sporting DNA. The full range will be available to order in autumn 2026.

From €64,000, with a range of up to 906km
