Interior architect Anouk Thill is launching a new interior architecture and design studio, Studio St Hubert.

Paperjam in January 2024 announced a change in management at At architecture (formerly A+T Architecture) and the departure of Anouk Thill as its director. Today, we present Studio St Hubert, the new project by interior architect Anouk Thill.

“Studio St Hubert was born out of the desire to create projects where everyone can find pleasure and satisfaction: the customers, by receiving a made-to-measure project, very precisely designed for their needs, and me, by creating interior design projects and objects where I can bring my creativity. Doing what you love, with the people you love, that’s the studio’s credo,” explains Thill.

At a pivotal point in her career and personal life, the architect asked herself about her deepest desires, her professional aspirations and expectations. “I realised that I had somewhat lost sight of interior design and furniture design, which is what I have always wanted to do since I studied at Saint-Luc in Brussels.” As a result, she has decided to retire from A+T Architecture, which she co-founded with Claudine Arend in 2003.

With Studio St Hubert, Thill plans to return to the pleasure of highly personalised projects, to build a close human relationship with her clients and the various people involved in the project, to develop a strong listening ear, and aspires to produce sustainable products with the smallest possible ecological footprint. “Today, we absolutely must produce furniture that lasts. To do so, they have to be of excellent quality, they have to be able to be dismantled, ideally transformed for multiple uses, and they have to be made from sustainable materials,” says Thill. This approach has already borne fruit, with a local authority and private customers already placing orders with her.
