Ancorius is continuing its acquisition drive in Luxembourg. The corporate and fund services provider announced on 16 September that it had signed an agreement to acquire A3T and Alcyon, two companies operating under common ownership. Financial terms were not disclosed. Completion remains subject to customary conditions, including regulatory approval.
A3T provides accounting, audit, tax, advisory and corporate services. Its clients include financial institutions, investment funds, public entities and non-profit organisations. The Luxembourg company is registered with the Ordre des experts-comptables (OEC) and, for its audit activities, with the Institut des réviseurs d’entreprises (IRE) and the Commission de surveillance du secteur financier (CSSF).
Alcyon is a CSSF-authorised professional of the financial sector, or PSF. It provides fund accounting, fund administration, transfer agency and corporate secretarial services to alternative fund managers.
The two businesses employ approximately 30 professionals between them. Ancorius said the transaction would broaden its corporate services offering while strengthening its regulated fund administration activities.
Existing management to remain
Clients of A3T and Alcyon will continue working with their current relationship teams after completion of the transaction, according to the announcement. A3T will remain under the leadership of Andréas Tartoras, Julien Didierjean and Jean-Philippe Roch. Alcyon will continue to be led by Vincent Gruselle and Jean-Philippe Roch.
“Every acquisition we make is highly selective,” Ancorius Group CEO Johan van den Berg said, adding that the two firms would bring expertise complementing the group’s existing capabilities.
Founded in 1995 as Fiduciaire Jean-Marc Faber, the company adopted the Ancorius name in 2025, after London-based private equity firm AnaCap became its majority shareholder. It provides corporate, accounting, fund, tax, payroll and family office services.
The A3T and Alcyon deal follows three other acquisition announcements since April 2026. Ancorius first bought Luxembourg corporate and tax services provider Initium. It then agreed to acquire Unsworth & Associates, which operates in Luxembourg and the Netherlands, before signing an agreement to acquire Luxembourg fund administrator Induna.
