Five years after its renovation and restoration, the Villa Baldauff will open to the public on 1 April with an exceptional hotel, La Villa Pétrusse. This establishment, which is under the same management as the Place d’Armes hotel, has 22 rooms, including two suites and a private penthouse. The restoration work on this listed historic villa was entrusted to Jim Clemes Associates.

The interior design is the work of Tristan Auer, who previously worked on the interior of the Plëss restaurant at the Place d’Armes. Auer has designed a décor inspired by the many historical elements still present in the villa. He also chose to have hand-painted wallpaper made from reproductions of works by Sosthène Weis.

Luxembourg chef Kim De Dood, who was previously awarded two Michelin stars at the Saint Pierre in Singapore, is in charge of the gourmet restaurant. His experiences in Asia have inspired him to create a menu that blends Luxembourg tradition with Asian influences.
