The moon remains in the spotlight at the start of this year with two revisited classics and two designs celebrating the Chinese lunar year of the Fire Horse.

Omega equips its Moonwatch with an inverted panda dial (black dial background with white sub-counters). Available in steel or Moonshine gold, these models feature a double-plate dial with a polished black top plate with a deep lacquer and contrasting lacquered white sub-counters.

Hermès revisits its Slim model with an openworked dial revealing the Hermès H1953 in-house extra-flat movement, combining hours, minutes and double moon phase. Available in platinum with a grey dial, or in steel with a blue dial. The bridges visible through a sapphire caseback echo the shades of the dials.

For each Chinese lunar year since 2012, Blancpain has combined a Chinese calendar with a Gregorian date and a moon phase. A unique configuration for an edition limited to 50 pieces, distinguished by a salmon pink Grand Feu enamel dial and a 22-carat gold oscillating weight.

Celebrating the Chinese Lunar New Year, the Manufacture is releasing a limited series of eight pieces dedicated to the Fire Horse. The programme includes miniature painting, three-dimensional engraving, fine stonework and a calibre with a large astronomical moon. Count on one day of deviation every 122 years.
