Located on the former commercial area that has become the AXS project, The Corner office building is part of the 42,500m2 mixed-use complex developed by Baltisse and designed by Beiler François Fritsch. It is now part of the portfolio of insurer Monceau International.
The acquisition means that Monceau Assurances has positioned itself as a new player in this urban renewal, alongside Capelli Luxembourg which owns two lots in the so-called South Village.
The Corner is one of three office buildings developed by Baltisse. It is seven storeys high and has a surface area of 6,862m2. The building was awarded the BREEAM Excellent certification, which underlines its environmental ambitions.
“We are delighted with this collaboration with Monceau Assurances and will soon be able to announce that a second building has already been taken up, even though delivery will only take place between 2024 and 2025,” said Guy Degryse, country director real estate at Baltisse. “This is further proof of the interest of occupiers and investors in efficient, flexible and architecturally expressive products in a project with a location that ticks all the boxes,” he added.
The acquisition, carried out with the advice from Inowai, has added to Monceau Assurances’s portfolio in Luxembourg, which already includes the Nova building at Place de l'Etoile, Quatuor at Cloche d'or, The Curve on route d'Arlon as well as two projects under construction – The Ultimate Building in Bonnevoie and Prince in the city centre.
