René Steinhaus has succeeded Rüdiger Franke as head of Frankfurt-Hahn airport, an airport owned by the Triwo Group and located in the Palatinate region of south-west Germany. It is understood that the owner and operator, Peter Adrian, personally selected Mr Steinhaus as his successor.
Mr Franke, for his part, will remain associated with the airport in an advisory capacity, with the task of developing the air freight business.
Mr Steinhaus had spent nearly six years at Lux-Airport, including more than four as CEO. He left Findel on 1st May 2022, on his own initiative, to pursue a new career challenge. He then joined the Swedish transport company Einride as vice-president, responsible for commercial operations in the DACH region and the Benelux countries.
