Project 1. Pétrusse Parks Kiosk
Set in the heart of the Pétrusse Valley, this pavilion—which stands out for its elegance and understated design—is the work of New Architekten BDA, with contributions from Förder Landschaftarchitekten. With its understated yet assertive architecture, this new feature of the landscape fits perfectly into an exceptional setting listed as a Unesco World Heritage Site. Inspired by the neighbourhood’s iconic rooftops, its slender profile blends harmoniously with its natural surroundings. A true landmark, it complements the park’s layout whilst offering a privileged view of the valley.

Project 2. Cents Nursery
The Cents Nursery is a project where architecture and nature come together with sensitivity. Behind its urban façade facing the main street, the building opens generously onto a leafy courtyard that extends into a lush garden. The living spaces are organised around this green heart, promoting light, conviviality and the children’s well-being. Its unique form arose from an inspiring challenge: to preserve and showcase four remarkable trees that now define the identity of the site. A project by Besch da Costa architects with the support of Best Ic, Luxautec, Areal and Pan Akustik.

Project 3. Malt/Luca
Renovating rather than building from scratch? A successful venture for Fabeck Architectes 2001, with the support of M Immobilier and the Luca (Luxembourg Centre for Architecture). This ambitious Malt project is situated on the former site of the Clausen Brewery, with this inventive regeneration giving a new lease of life to an iconic and memorable piece of industrial heritage. Thanks to meticulous, targeted and respectful interventions, the 1,800m² building has been transformed into a shared, flexible and vibrant space. At its summit, the Luca features modular spaces designed using reused elements, fostering interaction, creativity and collective use.

Project 4. Vewa, a creative space
An inspiring example of a transformation led by and for the community, Vewa is a former industrial hall in Dudelange that had been left derelict for over a decade but has been given a new lease of life through a participatory and sustainable renovation. Traces of the collaborative work between architect Eric Marx and DKollektiv asbl remain visible in every corner of the building, which has been crafted using reused materials sourced from the local industrial heritage. A model of excellence in more ways than one, Vewa is now a tangible symbol of a project that has brought to life a space for creativity, knowledge-sharing and civic engagement, actively contributing to the life of the future eco-neighbourhood of Néischmelz.
