To mark its 10th anniversary in Luxembourg, the law firm GSK Stockmann has teamed up with Luxair to unveil an aircraft featuring a livery designed to celebrate the occasion. The De Havilland Dash 8-400, registered as LX-LQJ, has been given a special livery, which was unveiled at an event held in Luxair’s maintenance hangar at Luxembourg airport. The aircraft has now joined the airline’s fleet with a design to mark the festivities planned throughout the year.
A creation by the Luxembourg artist Sumo!
The aircraft’s livery bears the signature of the Luxembourgish artist Sumo! (Christian Pearson), who has created a piece centred on the theme ‘Going the extra mile. Above & beyond. Always!’. The project thus brings together law, art and travel within a single creation. The design also features on the headrest covers on board, in Luxair’s business lounge, and on various advertising materials. According to the press release, the aircraft is set to operate flights across Luxair’s European network, enabling GSK Stockmann to boost its visibility.
A collaboration that puts Luxembourg in the spotlight
“At Luxair, we are delighted to celebrate GSK Stockmann’s 10th anniversary in Luxembourg through this unique partnership. “I am proud to have been part of GSK Stockmann’s journey in Luxembourg and honoured to be contributing to this milestone with a project that, quite literally, takes this adventure to new heights. Congratulations to GSK Stockmann and Luxair on this partnership,” added Sumo!.
“We are delighted to see this aircraft bring our partnership with Luxair to life. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone whose passion and commitment have made this project possible. The fact that Luxair connects us with our customers and partners across Europe motivates us even more to keep pushing the boundaries. A special thank you goes to Sumo!, who have successfully translated our ambition into this unique work of art to celebrate GSK Stockmann’s 10th anniversary in Luxembourg,” concluded Andreas Heinzmann, partner at GSK Stockmann in Luxembourg.
