EY Law has been approved by the Luxembourg Bar. An independent law firm managed by Stephen d’Errico, it will obviously have links with the EY network. Eventually, some twenty lawyers will be part of its team.

“Very happy to let you know that EY Law Luxembourg has been approved by the Luxembourg Bar. We are now up & running as a law firm!”

With this Linkedin post dated 9 January, managing partner  (attorney-at-law and former partner in charge of EY Luxembourg’s corporate & regulatory practice), made the birth of EY Law Luxembourg official. As its name indicates, it is linked to the EY network. It shares the address of the audit and consulting firm in Kirchberg but has its own offices because it is an independent firm, EY Luxembourg tells Delano’s sister publication Paperjam. Just like PwC Legal, for example.

EY Law was founded in November 2022 to “meet the increasingly specific demands of EY Global’s clients,” d’Errico said. “It is a change in continuity, which allows us to broaden the range of legal services in strict compliance with the ethics of the legal profession.”

EY Law specialises in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, investment funds and employment law. The team is currently being set up and should soon include “some twenty lawyers and barristers admitted to the Luxembourg Bar.”
