Cardif Lux Vie has appointed Arnaud de Dumast as chief executive from 1 April 2026, replacing Alexandre Draznieks as the Luxembourg life insurer looks to sustain growth across its domestic and cross-border business.

Cardif Lux Vie has appointed Arnaud de Dumast as chief executive with effect from 1 April 2026, subject to approval by Luxembourg’s insurance regulator (CAA). He will succeed Alexandre DraznieksAlexandre Draznieks, who has led the insurer since 2022 and is taking on new responsibilities within the group.

A graduate of Edhec, de Dumast began his career in 1994 at HR Gestion and joined Neuflize OBC in 1998, where he held senior roles in diversified management, marketing and financial management. In 2006, he joined the management committee of Neuflize OBC and in 2010 became a member of ABN Amro’s Global Investment Committee, while also serving as chief investment officer and member of the management board of Neuflize OBC Investissements.

He was appointed chief executive of Neuflize Vie in 2015. That insurer was acquired by BNP Paribas Cardif in 2024, giving de Dumast direct experience in the group’s life insurance operations ahead of his move to Luxembourg.

Cardif Lux Vie stated that de Dumast would continue business development in Luxembourg and in its European markets of France, Italy, Belgium, Spain and Portugal, as well as outside the European Economic Area.
