The next edition of Luxembourg’s Autofestival will take place from 24 January until 5 February, organisers said on Tuesday, stretching the event over two weeks.

The 58th edition of the Autofestival--during which dealerships make around a third of their annual sales--will take place over 13 days. Previously, it lasted only one week but more days were added during the pandemic to make up for restrictions on how many customers vendors could welcome.

Dealerships will be open on Sunday 30 January too, the federation of Luxembourg automobile distributors (Fedamo) said.

“This extension to 13 days enables the participating car dealerships to spread the expected number of visitors over two complete weeks and thus offer customers individual advice,” the group said.

Vendors usually offer special deals on cars during the festival with banks also providing generous loan conditions and quick processing of applications for funds.
