Today, CACEIS is one of Luxembourg’s ‘Top 3’ asset servicing groups (Monterey Insight), and a major employer. Through organic, partnership and acquisition growth, notably the purchase of RBC’s and Degroof Petercam’s European activities, we’ve massively increased our footprint here, with offices on the Glacis and in Esch. For the takeovers, we leveraged our vast experience of integrating staff and migrating clients to perform the smoothest possible transition with uninterrupted service for our new clients while ensuring our existing clients’ continued satisfaction.

Luxembourg’s combined wealth of financial expertise – from the ‘Big 4’ to fintechs – with a business-friendly government makes it an excellent hub for distributing investment funds. Our multi-lingual staff – another major advantage of Luxembourg – handle the needs of European, North American and Asian clients promoting all kinds of investment products.

By taking on the staff from acquisition deals, we maintained relationships with our new clients that are just as strong as with our existing clients. Our servicing philosophy has always sought to construct a partnership where we are like a department within our client’s organisation. Our staff are experts and we know that while AI technologies can assist, no chatbot will replace the human relationships we build with clients. These relationships and our high-touch servicing allow us to constantly improve our client satisfaction scores that we regularly monitor.

CACEIS continues to be deeply involved in Luxembourg’s financial community via ALFI, the CSSF and local conferences. And while we may not be highly visible to the general public, we take part in career fairs to raise brand awareness among young recruits, sponsor the arts, and support important local publications like PaperJam.
