Imbued with notions of sustainability long before most of the world began to concern itself with the issue, two decades ago architect Christian Bauer designed a building made entirely of wood and exposed concrete (i.e. without any coating). “If in 50 years’ time we want to use it for something other than a family home, anything is possible, nothing is set in stone,” he explains.
