The LeA Group is continuing its editorial expansion in the legal field in Luxembourg and Belgium with the acquisition of five leading publications in tax and company law, previously published by Roularta Media Group. The deal marks a strategic turning point for the Luxembourg-based group, which also owns the Legitech publishing house and the LexNow.io digital platform.

Le Fiscologue, Fiscoloog, Le Fiscologue International, Fiscoloog Internationaal and the bilingual journal Revue pratique des sociétés - Tijdschrift voor Rechtspersoon en Vennootschap (RPS-TRV) - are well-known publications among legal and accountancy practitioners in the Greater Region. They will fall into the fold of the LeA group (Legitech in Luxembourg, Anthemis and LeA Uitgevers in Belgium and the digital platform LexNow.io), to which the Roularta Media group has sold them for an undisclosed amount.

Through this acquisition, carried out via its Belgian subsidiaries Anthemis and LeA Uitgevers, the LeA Group is expanding its editorial offering towards weekly news, a segment still absent from its catalogue, which until now has focused on in-depth works and training courses.

"This acquisition represents a strategic turning point for the LeA Group. It will enable us to enhance our offering with innovative and benchmark professional publications while positioning us in the weekly news segment,” sayd Nicolas Buck, Chairman of the Board of the LeA Group. Our ambition is clear: to strengthen the legal ecosystem in Luxembourg and Belgium. The arrival of these five titles will enable the group to provide better coverage of tax and company news, while consolidating its position among experts in cross-border taxation, a key topic in Luxembourg.

"These magazines share the values of high standards and quality that lie at the heart of our editorial mission. Our business expertise and close ties with legal and accounting professionals will enable us to support these publications as they take on new horizons, particularly in their digital dimension," said LeA Group CEO Marc-Olivier Lifrange.

All editorial and scientific teams, as well as publication processes, will be maintained. Current subscriptions will continue uninterrupted.

For Roularta Media Group, this is a strategic refocusing on its core activities while ensuring a solid future for these specialist titles. "Given the highly specialised nature of these magazines, we were convinced that they would find better growth opportunities within a group entirely dedicated to legal and professional publishing," emphasised Roularta Media Group CEO Xavier Bouckaert. The operational integration will begin gradually from October 2025.
