RTL Luxembourg is overhauling its management team. , currently managing director of IP Luxembourg, will be promoted to chief operating officer (COO) and deputy CEO. He will lead RTL Luxembourg’s transformation process, back office, human resources and business intelligence. , head of digital products and deputy content director, will become director of programmes & products. Bintz, who has been with RTL Luxembourg since 1999, will oversee cultural and entertainment content as well as digital products and marketing, working alongside Jeff Spielmann and David Gloesener.

From 1 January 2025, the management board will comprise (CEO), Daniel Felgueiras Da Cunha (CFO), Christian Schmitz (COO and deputy CEO), Sandra Bintz (director programmes & products), Luc Marteling (news director) and Tom Weber (CTO).

Changes at Mediahuis too

From 1 January 2025, Ines Kurschat will succeed Roland Arens as director of publications at Mediahuis Luxembourg and editor-in-chief of Luxemburger Wort. With more than 20 years of experience in journalism, she has worked at woxx, Lëtzebuerger Land, and more recently at Luxemburger Wort, where she was responsible for the political section. She will also oversee the digital transformation of Mediahuis Luxembourg’s news brands. Arens will remain a member of the management team until his retirement in 2025.
