The 60th edition of the Autofestival, which ended on 3 February, registered more visitors than the previous edition.

The event has, again, proven its success: attendance was up by 10% at the 2024 Autofestival.

Trends compiled from the two-week festival show that drivers are particularly interested in electric cars and are increasingly considering private leases as a way of getting them. A key factor for people who are considering buying an electric vehicle is the €8,000 in aid money offered by the government, a measure extended until the end of June 2024.

Another trend is that carmakers have diversified their offerings, allowing customers to customise more and more aspects of their vehicles.

Fedamo, the federation of car distributors, has also unveiled the dates of the next industry event, the AutoOccasiounsFestival: 3-15 June 2024.
