The investment fund service provider is reorganising its management responsibilities following the acquisition of Bil Manage Invest and the integration of Allfunds’ operations.

Waystone announced on Tuesday 1 September that the company is reviewing its organisational structure in Luxembourg following a period of external growth. Alexandra Serban-Liebsch is taking over as chief executive of Waystone Management Company (Lux). Having been with the group for over ten years, she most recently held the post of head of operations. She is taking on this role from Denis HartyDenis Harty, who remains in charge of Waystone for continental Europe and continues to oversee operations in Luxembourg.

Alain BastinAlain Bastin has been appointed deputy head for Luxembourg. Formerly managing director of Bil Manage Invest, he oversaw the integration of that company into Waystone. He will now take on responsibilities within the group’s entities in Luxembourg and Switzerland.

From 1 October, John Grosso will take over as head of fund administration services in Luxembourg. He has previously held senior management positions at Apex Group, Deutsche Bank and BNY Mellon. These appointments come less than a year following the acquisition of Bil Manage Invest, to be completed in October 2025, and following integration in 2026 the activities of Allfunds’ management companies. These two transactions have strengthened the role of the Luxembourg platform within Waystone’s European organisation.
