Trustmoore, a global boutique provider of legal, financial administration and management services, appointed Paulo Fernandes Da Cunha as its new Country Head for Luxembourg, pending regulatory approval, the firm confirmed on 23 September 2025.

Fernandes Da Cunha, a seasoned executive in the Luxembourg funds market, was tasked with accelerating organic growth by expanding the funds business, while ensuring capital markets and corporate client services developed in tandem. He was also expected to pursue selective partnerships and bolt-on acquisitions to broaden client services and product depth.

The appointment followed Trustmoore’s acquisition of Funds Avenue. A key priority, according to the firm, would be integrating fund administration, AIFM/ManCo and SPV services into a unified Luxembourg offering. Trustmoore said the consolidation aimed to give clients broader service coverage while maintaining a tailored approach.

Chief executive Wouter Plantenga said Luxembourg represented an important part of the group’s strategy. He added that under Fernandes Da Cunha’s leadership, Trustmoore aimed to scale its local operations and expand its funds services footprint.

Fernandes Da Cunha said his focus would be to strengthen awareness of Trustmoore’s expanded proposition in Luxembourg and to translate that into client results.
