Trustmoore, an international fund and corporate services provider, has appointed Sabrina El Abbadi as managing director governance, legal and compliance in Luxembourg, pending regulatory approval, in a move the company argued would strengthen its management team and deepen its position in the Luxembourg financial market.
The appointment, announced on Wednesday 18 March 2026, comes as Trustmoore pushes ahead with broader growth plans in Luxembourg, which it views as one of its key strategic markets. The company stated that El Abbadi would help reinforce its governance, legal and compliance capabilities as the group expands.
Trustmoore argued that the appointment comes at a pivotal moment in its growth trajectory and would support efforts to broaden its service offering in the grand duchy. The company maintained that a stronger governance and compliance platform would help ensure clients receive a more robust and structured service as the business grows.
Paulo Fernandes Da Cunha, country head of Trustmoore Luxembourg, stated that strengthening the management team was central to delivering long-term value for clients and supporting sustainable growth. He emphasised that El Abbadi brings expertise in governance, legal and compliance, alongside what he described as a well-established network in Luxembourg and direct client-side experience.
El Abbadi brings more than a decade of experience in Luxembourg’s financial services industry, with a focus on alternative investments and governance frameworks. Before joining Trustmoore, she built and led the Luxembourg operations of Tikehau Capital, where she played a role in expanding the firm’s presence in the country and supporting its growth across private markets.
El Abbadi stated that Luxembourg continues to hold a central role in the governance and structuring of international investment platforms. She described Trustmoore’s current phase as one of strong momentum and reasoned that the move was a natural step for her given her interest in helping organisations in expansion.
