As the days grow longer, the B13 naturally shifts into a different gear. The dishes take on a fresher feel, the terraces fill up and large groups of diners return to their usual haunts. A season to be experienced as much as savoured.

At B13, summer is quietly settling in. In the light that lingers a little longer on the tables. In the conversations that drag on after dessert. In those plates that make you want to share another drink rather than check the time. The kitchen follows this rhythm quite naturally.

The dishes are becoming fresher, more colourful and more spontaneous. Burrata is paired with chilled tomatoes, cucumber and peach. Bluefin tuna is served with “bonbon” melon, a burrata mousse and a giant, crispy rice crisp. Elsewhere, prawns are coated in Café de Paris butter, seasoned with basil and lime.

Sometimes, summer finds expression in more unexpected combinations. A roasted sea bass with a spicy Basque Pil Pil sauce. A glazed chicken thigh served with roasted apricots and crispy sweetcorn. Or perhaps hand-shaped paccheri, topped with a creamy three-tomato sauce. Seasonal cuisine that’s vibrant and generous, designed not to impress but to make you want to come back.

Summer’s big gatherings

Summer is also the season when colleagues become friends for the evening, when birthday parties go on later than planned, and when we always end up adding a last-minute chair to the table.

B13 has unveiled its ‘Event Summer’ brochure, designed to complement all those special occasions: corporate dinners, summer parties, birthdays and private events.

Menus designed for sharing, barbecue set menus, gourmet stations and relaxed receptions make up an offering crafted in the same spirit as the restaurant itself: friendly, generous and unpretentious. Because some evenings start with an aperitif and end much later than planned.

A place that changes with the seasons

Ultimately, summer at B13 is about more than just what’s on your plate. It’s a terrace that comes to life, a large table that fills up, a lunch that drags on or an evening that takes its time.

A season that’s gradually settling in. And one we’re happy to let linger.
