Named Stifel Europe Securities – Luxembourg Branch, the new office is located at 58 rue Charles Martel in Luxembourg. The branch will be represented in the Grand Duchy by Olivier Garnier de Falletans. It reports to the group’s French subsidiary, registered in Paris and headed by Grégoire Gillingham, with Céline Herault as managing director.
According to the published articles of association, the purpose of this establishment is to develop commercial relations and identify business opportunities for the various entities within the Stifel Group. It will also be able to carry out a wide range of activities relating to financing, shareholdings, intellectual property and property, subject to the necessary regulatory approvals.
Founded in 1890 and listed on the New York Stock Exchange, Stifel Financial Corp. is one of the leading independent financial services groups in the United States. Its activities include investment banking, capital markets, brokerage, financial research, wealth management and banking. In 2025, the group generated revenue of $6.35bn, had $41.3bn in balance sheet assets and managed $552bn in assets on behalf of its clients.
The published results also show strong growth in investment banking and institutional business, which contributed to the Group’s growth during the 2025 financial year. The opening of a branch in Luxembourg forms part of this strategy to expand its European platform.
