Robeco is expanding its sales team in Belgium and Luxembourg. With effect from this Tuesday 1 September, Ralph Berkien took up the post of senior sales manager there. The company manages and invests capital on behalf of institutional clients. In his new role, Ralph Berkien will be responsible, in particular, for pension funds, insurance companies, banks and asset managers in both markets.

The new senior sales manager is already very familiar with Robeco, where he has worked for over 25 years. His career has taken him from fixed income investing to client portfolio management, and then on to business development.

He most recently headed the team responsible for presenting Robeco’s fixed-income strategies to institutional and professional investors worldwide. He is now joining Erik van de Weele’s team, sales manager for Belgium and Luxembourg.
