Clearstream Fund Services was chosen by Quintet Private Bank to support its mutual fund execution and distribution business, Clearstream on Tuesday 19 March 2024. Quintet, a wealth manager headquartered in Luxembourg and with operations across Europe and the UK, will now use Clearstream for its mutual fund execution and distribution processing.
The relationship between the two companies, which has been established over many years, sees Quintet aiming to consolidate its mutual fund execution and distribution processing with Clearstream Fund Services to improve operational efficiency. This consolidation is intended to help Quintet better meet its client needs. The company is expected to gain from Clearstream’s standards in asset safety and streamlined fund processing operations, which include trading, post-trading and trailer fees, alongside access to a suite of services from Clearstream.
Pierre-Jean Frognet, head of operations at Quintet Luxembourg, commented on the alignment of Clearstream’s expertise in fund execution and distribution with Quintet’s vision for its fund processing operations. Frognet highlighted the importance of innovation in data and technology in this partnership.
Neil Wise, chief commercial officer for Clearstream Fund Services, remarked on the expansion of the collaboration between Quintet and Clearstream. He noted the significance of the long-standing relationship and commitment to innovation between the two companies. Wise mentioned that Clearstream’s services aim to offer efficient and secure processing and distribution services for all fund types.
