Businesses have understood that energy is a key element for staying competitive. Ten years ago, the enoprimes program was launched. It helps professionals achieve concrete results and save energy through optimization work. No less than 30,000 companies have benefited from it.

To make it accessible to as many businesses as possible, Enovos works with the energie agence, which provides operational support. Among the 27,000 applications supported, 1900 concerned the businesses. The total amount of grants awarded to professionals has increased tenfold.

An advantageous solution

Companies in the tertiary/services sector or in industry wishing to benefit from enoprimes must opt for some construction work that delivers significant energy savings and improves efficiency: replacing insulation, heating systems, ventilation, air conditioning, and motors, among others.

They benefit from a reduced investment and quickly recoup their costs. Specific incentives have been put in place: replacing fluorescent lamps with LED alternatives and providing monitoring kits. The “SME actions” initiative, which doubles the grant amount, has also been launched, where installing a heat pump qualifies for a fixed bonus of €7500 per project.

An asset for the energy transition

Enoprimes also benefit the environment. The grants awarded have two objectives: reducing the cost of the construction work and energy consumption. Their amount depends on the energy savings achieved. The greater the savings, the higher the amount. Over ten years, more than 900 GWh have been generated.
