This June, the Luca is organising the Luxembourg Architecture Award, inviting the public to have their say from 1 to 21 June through a public vote on the preselected projects.

The first edition of the Luxembourg Architecture Award is fast approaching. Following a rigorous selection process by the jury, based on the diversity and vitality of architectural practices, Luca, the event organiser, is seeking the public’s opinion from 1 by 21 June. The architectural project that receives the most votes will win the highly coveted Audience Award.

So here’s your chance to support Luxembourg’s creative talent, highlight your favourites and play an active part in this celebration of creativity made in Luxembourg.

Through the award’s five categories (“building sustainability”, “realising with precision”, “engaging with the existing”, “living together”, “representing and documenting”), the Luxembourg Architecture Award highlights not only built projects but also research, representation and curatorial practices, all of which contribute to architectural culture and the debate on the built environment.

Given that a single click can make all the difference and that your choice matters, it’s both worthwhile and enjoyable to rally your network. Are you interested in architecture and beauty in general? Then remember the words of Julian Barnes: “Art belongs to everyone and to no one. Above all, art belongs to the person who creates it and to the person who appreciates it.”
