Born in the Czech Republic to a Polish family and now a German national, Izabela holds a master’s degree in applied linguistics from the University of Warsaw and an M.A. in Risk Management and Corporate Security from the Hochschule Campus Wien in Vienna.

With over 25 years of experience in the life insurance industry, Izabela brings a wealth of expertise to her new role. Her career began in business development and employee benefit consulting at a leading German group life insurer, before she transitioned to the Luxembourg market, where she spent 18 years growing her regulatory and control functions expertise. Izabela has since established a broad portfolio in compliance, regulatory affairs, and internal audit, as well as in sales support - designing and implementing robust distribution governance frameworks aligned with the Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD).

Her hands-on approach, deep understanding of regulations, and strong personal integrity make her a trusted and effective leader in the insurance sector. At Zurich Eurolife, Izabela will oversee the Compliance function, playing a key role in supporting the company’s growth ambitions while ensuring compliance with complex industry standards.
