Inversis Luxembourg has been appointed depositary for March Asset Management’s Luxembourg funds, extending a relationship that already covers all of the Spanish group’s funds and Sicavs and lifting assets under custody above €21.7bn in 2025.

Inversis Luxembourg, the branch of Inversis operational since May 2024, has assumed the role of depositary for the investment funds of March Asset Management, the asset management arm of Banca March Group. The move, announced in Madrid on 11 November 2025, further deepens the relationship between the two firms after March AM transferred a broad range of Spanish vehicles to Inversis Spain in 2024, including 19 investment funds, 10 pension funds, 10 Sicav and three Spanish social welfare schemes.

Luxembourg mandate

March Asset Management’s decision to appoint Inversis Luxembourg as depositary for its Luxembourg-based funds builds on the mandate awarded last year, under which Inversis Spain became depositary for all of the manager’s funds and Sicav in the domestic market from July 2025. The new arrangement brings the cross-border product range under a single depositary provider within the group.

Inversis said the appointment reflects March Asset Management’s confidence in its role as a provider of integrated investment technology and outsourced financial services, following the expansion of its value proposition and service capabilities in Luxembourg.

Full depositary model in Luxembourg

Following the opening of its Luxembourg branch, Inversis now offers a full depositary service in the Grand Duchy. The company said this includes asset custody, record keeping of non-custodiable assets, supervision and oversight of entities under depositary, and cash flow monitoring. These functions are designed to meet Luxembourg and European regulatory requirements and to provide protection, transparency and security for clients and investors.

The depositary operations in Luxembourg are run by a team described as highly qualified and functionally diverse, with more than 10 years of experience in investment vehicle services in the jurisdiction. This local team is supported by professionals based at the company’s headquarters in Spain.

Inversis also works in partnership with Adepa in Luxembourg. Adepa provides fund administration, portfolio and management company services, record maintenance, net asset value calculation, transfer agency and reporting. Together, the two providers offer what they describe as an integrated proposition for institutional clients in both Spain and Luxembourg, covering the operational chain from administration and management company services through to depositary and custody.

Inversis closed 2024 with €19.9bn in assets under custody, providing depositary services to more than 70 asset managers. In the first half of 2025, assets under custody exceeded €21.7bn, representing an increase of 9% compared with year-end 2024 and 33% year on year, according to the company.

Inversis is jointly owned by Banca March and Euroclear.
