EY Luxembourg has appointed two assurance partners with effect from this September. Both arrive with a background in alternative funds.

Sabine Gallenmüller is a réviseur d’entreprises and an FCCA with 17 years of auditing behind her in Luxembourg. Her work covers statutory and contractual engagements in asset management, under both Lux GAAP and IFRS, for regulated and unregulated vehicles – private equity, private debt, venture capital, infrastructure, real estate and Ucits alike. She read international business at Landshut University of Applied Sciences and at Anglia Ruskin in Cambridge, studying in the United Kingdom and Hong Kong along the way. She joins the private equity assurance team, where she will lead complex audit engagements.

Manuel Jantos has spent more than 15 years in the Luxembourg fund industry, handling international portfolios weighted towards private equity and private debt. He started out in asset management before moving across to alternatives, and has worked alongside tax and advisory colleagues to open up business beyond audit. A business administration graduate of the University of Trier, he is a Fellow of the ACCA and has been a réviseur d’entreprises since 2022. His brief is to widen the firm’s footprint in the German, Austrian and Swiss markets.
