With the support of the Ministry for Family Affairs and the Ministry of Labour, and spearheaded by Info-Handicap, APEMH, the HMC League and Tricentenaire, this initiative brings together those who are making a difference: people with disabilities, their families, employers and interested professionals. The aim? To move beyond the problems and focus on the solutions!
Finding one’s path, developing one’s career, and being recognised for one’s skills – these are all aspirations that still raise many questions:
• How can you find a fulfilling job with regards to your needs?
• Which model should we opt for: the mainstream labour market or vocational integration workshops?
• How can we fully unlock people’s talents and ensure their career progression?
Rather than leaving these questions unanswered, this event offers a dynamic, practical space that encourages discussion, where you can find insights and leave with new perspectives. An immersive evening featuring conversations, personal accounts and opportunities to meet others.
The focus will be on open dialogue and honest accounts, fostering discussions designed to promote understanding and break down barriers.
Programme for the evening, in the presence of Minister Max Hahn:
• 5:00 pm – 6.30 pm – Welcoming visitors and meeting them at the information stands;
• 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm – Round-table discussions: The mainstream labour market and vocational inclusion workshops. Experts and panellists will exchange views to share their experiences, challenges and successes;
• 8:30 pm – 9:30 pm – Networking at the stands and a drinks reception.
The stands will serve as a space for personalised discussion, allowing participants to address specific situations in complete confidence. For businesses, they will offer an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the realities and benefits of inclusive recruitment.
And because inclusion starts with accessibility, every effort is made to ensure that everyone can take part:
• main language: Luxembourgish;
• German sign language interpreting;
• written transcript in German;
• simultaneous interpreting into French, German, English and Portuguese.
The event is fully accessible.
