Over two days on 17 and 18 April, volunteers had organised arts and crafts sessions, an Easter egg hunt and picnic. Children could also play football and badminton at the event in Kirchberg. Each child was able to choose a small gift to take away.
The event aimed at providing some Easter cheer for refugees who have fled the war in Ukraine. Around 200 refugees--children and adults--took part and were able to connect with each other but also the local volunteers and other guests.
