Dentons Luxembourg has announced the promotion of Olivier Lesage to Partner in its Banking and Finance department. The appointment, announced on 1 June 2026, gives the department two Partners, with Lesage joining
Stéphane Hadet, who has led the practice for more than 25 years.
Lesage has spent fifteen years at Dentons. He advises corporate groups, financial institutions and investment funds on Luxembourg and international transactions, including restructurings, refinancing and leveraged finance. His work also covers fund, real estate and asset financing, pre- and post-acquisition restructurings and Luxembourg and European financial-market regulation.
“Olivier has been a driving force behind the development of our Banking and Finance department for over fifteen years. This promotion recognises not only the work he has done for our clients, but also his active role in training and developing the Luxembourg team,” said Hadet.
Dentons Luxembourg also promoted David Paiva to Managing Counsel in its Corporate and M&A department, where he supports lead partner
Namik Ramić.

Paiva specialises in corporate law, M&A, private equity, joint ventures, structuring and financing. He advises international groups and private equity funds on acquisitions, structured transactions and management incentive schemes. He also advises family offices and high-net-worth private clients on vehicle structuring and governance.
Martine Gerber-Lemaire, Managing Partner of Dentons Luxembourg, stated that the promotions came amid strong activity in real estate financing, fund financing, cross-border structuring and M&A transactions.
