Cybersecurity can no longer be bought in bits and pieces
Nowadays, many companies build their cybersecurity posture by assembling a range of separate solutions: connectivity, firewalls, compliance, monitoring and awareness. But attackers do not operate in silos: they exploit human vulnerabilities, gaps between service providers and delays in detection. Against a backdrop of tightening regulations (NIS2, Dora) and increasingly sophisticated threats, digital resilience requires a coherent value chain in which different areas of expertise work together and reinforce one another. This is the approach championed by Cegecom, which is taking a further step in this direction with the integration of F3C Systems into its cybersecurity ecosystem.
An ecosystem built on three pillars
With F3C Systems, Cegecom now covers the entire defence cycle:
• Anticipate – Luxcontrol: governance, risk management, compliance (NIS2, ISO 27001, CRA), maturity assessments, awareness-raising and Ciso-as-a-service;
• Protect – Cegecom: secure and resilient connectivity, DDoS protection, managed firewalls and a trusted telecoms infrastructure operated from Luxembourg;
• Response – F3C Systems: 24/7 SOC based in Luxembourg, offering real-time detection, analysis and incident response, based on European Sekoia technology.
Each stakeholder remains an expert in their own field. The aim is to avoid a one-size-fits-all approach and to provide integrated, transparent and effective cybersecurity.
F3C Systems: a sovereign SOC finally accessible to SMEs
F3C Systems, an independent Luxembourg-based provider, brings together infrastructure, SOC and audit expertise under one roof. Its locally operated monitoring centre enables SMEs to access advanced threat detection capabilities. What sets the company apart is its transparent pricing model: costs are based on the number of monitored assets (workstations and servers), rather than on complex technical metrics. As a result, businesses gain clear cost visibility while benefiting from a level of protection typically associated with larger organisations.
Luxcontrol: governance as a foundation
Luxcontrol contributes its expertise in governance, compliance and risk management. It plays a key role in turning regulatory requirements into concrete, measurable measures, seamlessly integrated into protection and detection systems.
A shared vision
“Cybersecurity must be viewed as an integrated system rather than a collection of standalone products. Together with Luxcontrol and F3C Systems, we are building a coherent, sovereign cybersecurity model rooted in Luxembourg and accessible to businesses of all sizes,” explains Serge Eiffes, CEO of Cegecom.
All three partners will be attending Nexus 2026. A joint keynote, entitled “The Cybersecurity Value Chain: Securing the Digital Economy End-to-End”, will present their integrated vision of cybersecurity on 10 June at 5pm on the visionary stage.
