Atos, via its Eviden arm, and cloud leader AWS want to propel businesses into a new era of innovation through generative AI. On Thursday, they announced the launch of their GenAI Innovation Studio in India. This strategic partnership aims to develop cutting-edge solutions to meet the unique challenges of each business sector.
"This centre will foster close collaboration with our customers around the world. Here, we will develop solutions and accelerators that precisely address their specific needs and challenges. By harnessing the power of generative AI, we aim to empower our customers to take full advantage of data and AI to drive transformation and instil innovation across their businesses," Atos group deputy CEO Diane Galbe stated in an announcement.
The GenAI Innovation studio will serve as a collaborative hub where the two entities will develop solutions based on generative AI, corresponding to specific challenges in certain industries. The solutions will be almost bespoke, since customers will be able to take part in prospective sessions and validation tests on very concrete genAI applications.
The two players, who have already been partners for more than ten years, are highlighting a case study: the solution developed with Eviden for French winetech Selartag. "We were able to create and implement an innovative and reliable application that enables our customers to locate, track and record wine stocks, as well as limit errors and authenticate the quality of wine bottles. This solution extends service excellence to all the players in the value chain that support our customers' business. Eviden's end-to-end expertise in AWS services and project management has helped to create a differentiated solution for our customers. As a result, our customers have access to real-time data and are seeing constant efficiency gains, enabling them to stay one step ahead of their competitors", stated Selartag's founding chairman, Hervé Lemaire.
The two companies also announced that "the studio will organise regular events to foster a culture of learning and innovation, including training and certification programmes, hackathons and AWS DeepRacer competitions".
