CMS Luxembourg has appointed Alejandro Dominguez Becerra as a partner in its tax department. With the addition, the firm now has 11 partners in Luxembourg and over 65 lawyers, including two partners working alongside an experienced team of eight other members specialising in tax, VAT and transfer pricing.

Dominguez Becerra joined CMS Luxembourg in 2021 and has over 10 years’ experience as a lawyer and in-house counsel. He specialises in Luxembourg taxation applied to M&A transactions, investment fund structuring, securitisation and project finance. He also advises financial institutions on information exchange obligations. His recent work includes advising Aviva Investors on the tax aspects of the creation and launch of the Aviva Investors Carbon Removal Fund, as well as the Three Seas Initiative Investment Fund on a $300m funding commitment from the United States International Development Finance Corporation (DFC).
