Ready, steady, go for 20km for SOS! The solidarity challenge by SOS Villages d’Enfants Monde is back with a fresh format. Make the most of spring, summer or autumn to get involved in this inclusive initiative. One shared aim: #LeaveNoOneBehind.

How to take part

Walk, cycle or swim—choose the way that suits you best to get moving in the fresh air and clock up a few kilometres. Why not turn that effort into something meaningful by supporting a good cause, while enjoying the boost to your wellbeing?

The sporting goal

Set yourself a target of 20 km or more and invite parents, friends or colleagues to sponsor your challenge. There’s no minimum level and no categories: whether you’re an occasional mover or a seasoned athlete, everyone is welcome. Take part on your own or share the experience with others—as a duo, a team, with family or friends.

The solidarity goal

By joining the challenge, you’ll be helping vulnerable children and young people supported by SOS Villages d’Enfants Monde. For over 50 years, the organisation has worked alongside partners on the ground to protect children and uphold their rights. Together, we aim to bring genuine hope into their daily lives.

The projects

SOS Villages d’Enfants Monde delivers long-term development programmes in West Africa and Uzbekistan. It also responds to emergencies and strengthens resilience in countries such as Cape Verde, Colombia, Ethiopia, Palestine and Ukraine, where crises and conflicts put children at risk. In addition, it supports educational and child care initiatives in South Africa, Cape Verde, Morocco, Nepal and Pakistan.
