Art Talk Rewind is a podcast series presented by Luxembourg Art Week, revisiting the talks held during the fair. Partners and their guests explore the key questions shaping contemporary creation and the art market.
Investing in culture, particularly in visual arts, has always had a profound impact—not only in the private sphere but also in the creation of invaluable collections, often made accessible to the public. While valuation and estate planning issues are now well defined from a legal standpoint, new challenges are emerging: is art an asset like any other? How can investment strategies evolve in the age of digitalisation, tokenisation, and artificial intelligence? What are the challenges in valuing a collection, domestically or abroad, opening a dedicated venue, or lending artworks?
