The curtain will rise this Wednesday morning on the third edition of Nexus Luxembourg. With 10,000 visitors expected, fifty countries represented and 13,500 square metres of exhibition space in Kirchberg, the event – launched just two years ago – has taken on a whole new dimension.

For those who haven’t yet collected their badge, you can do so at Luxembourg Airport (until 10 pm), or directly at Luxexpo The Box from 8 am. The badge grants access to all four zones and five stages of the summit over the two days. Important reminder: there will be no Earpods this year. Sessions will be held in open-audio mode across all five stages – only certain partner events running alongside the official programme may use headphones, which will be provided on site.

The programme is structured around four distinct zones. The Intelligence Forum brings together keynote speeches and panel discussions focusing on applied AI, autonomous systems and cybersecurity. The Fintech Sphere brings together financial players, founders and regulators to discuss the transformation of European finance – featuring the Women in Finance & Technology ceremony organised by Lhoft. The Launchpad Arena hosts 250 start-ups and scale-ups selected across ten categories, competing for the €100,000 grand prize during 90-minute pitch sessions. The Luxembourg Makes It Happen zone brings together institutions, ministries, investors and national champions, and will host the official opening ceremony, the presentation of the Luxembourg AI Excellence Awards and the graduation of the Fit 4 Start programme.

This year’s event features a line-up of leading figures from the institutional and business sectors. Luc Frieden, the Prime Minister, will deliver the keynote speech, as will Xavier Bettel, Minister for Foreign Affairs, and Gilles Roth, Minister of Finance. Among the entrepreneurs and technology executives are Octave Klaba, founder and chairman of OVHcloud, Vijay Shekhar Sharma, founder and CEO of Paytm, Jean-Baptiste Kempf, chairman and lead developer at VideoLAN, Eva-Maria Hempe, head of public sector for Emea at Nvidia, and Dr Tawfik Jelassi, deputy director-general of Unesco.

Thursday 11 June also begins at 8am. The after-work event takes place between 6pm and 8pm – a cocktail reception not to be missed before the closing ceremony, with the sit-down dinner starting at 7.30pm and finishing at midnight. It is still advisable to arrive early in the day to be comfortably settled in before 10 am.

To get to Luxexpo The Box, the T1 tram stops directly at the Luxexpo stop, located in front of the building’s entrances. Public transport has been free throughout Luxembourg since March 2020 – you can plan your journey using the Mobiliteit.lu app. The full programme is available at nexusluxembourg.com/events, and the event’s official app – available on the App Store and Google Play under the name ‘Nexus Luxembourg’ – allows you to personalise your schedule, access the venue map and arrange one-to-one meetings via the built-in matchmaking system.

The official pub crawl starts at 5 pm at the Cercle Municipal on Place d’Armes – where you can collect your wristbands – before making its way through the Upper Town, stopping at six partner venues.

The next edition is already scheduled: Nexus Luxembourg 2027 will take place on 9 and 10 March, with applications from start-ups opening on 10 July 2026.
