The Cultural Association of Azerbaijan in Luxembourg has opened an information centre in the capital.
The “Karabagh” centre, supported by Azerbaijan’s embassy to Belgium and Luxembourg, “has the aim of promoting the Azerbaijani culture by organizing concerts, exhibitions, seminars and much more,” the organisation said in a press announcement.
Among the dignitaries who attended the event on Thursday were the group’s president and noted restaurateur, Léa Linster, the vice president of Luxembourg’s Chamber of Deputies, Laurent Mosar, Russia’s ambassador to the Grand Duchy, Marc Entin and the president of the Chamber of Commerce Luxembourg-Azerbaijan, Marc Hübsch.
“Imamyar Hasanov, an internationally acclaimed kamancha virtuoso performed pieces of traditional mugham music during” the ceremony,” according to the association. “Visitors could have a look at paintings, decorations and books from Azerbaijan, offered by [the] Heydar Aliyev Foundation.”
