Direct flights to England's two biggest provincial cities start in September  Flybe

Europe’s largest regional airline, Flybe, will begin operating direct flights between Luxembourg and Manchester and Birmingham in September. Tickets are available for booking now, with one way fares from £29.99 including taxes and charges.

The service to Manchester starts 1 September and the Birmingham flights will start operating on 5 September. The schedule offers daily flights to and from Birmingham and a twice daily service to Manchester, with one flight a day at weekends.

Vincent Hodder, Flybe chief revenue officer, said: “We are delighted to be adding Luxembourg to our Summer schedules from both Manchester and Birmingham. Until now, direct flights to Luxembourg were only possible via London. We are opening up yet another key business and tourist destination to travellers outside of the M25 corridor and look forward to welcoming all our new customers on board in September.”

Flybe describes Luxembourg as “not only a key business destination, but is also a hidden European gem with dramatic countryside scattered with fairytale-style castles.”
