Guillaume Melis, a senior manager at PwC, shares his favourite food spots with us.

Your go-to spot for unwinding with colleagues without ending up at an after-work drinks?

Guillaume Melis. – “Nanban. Tania Passos, the chef, does everything herself in the basement. Once you’ve finished your bowl, she’ll serve you another. And her karaage chicken is exceptional (almost just like in Japan).

The table where you can enjoy good news… and fine wines?

“At Flûte Alors: the team is brilliant, the atmosphere is always friendly, and there’s an excellent champagne list featuring some very niche selections. The food is also excellent.

When time is short but your taste buds deserve better than a soggy sandwich?

“At LaMie… you get a proper sandwich with texture, flavour and fresh ingredients.

The perfect place to talk numbers without compromising on flavour?

«Equilibrium. There’s space between the tables and a certain sense of privacy. Baptiste, the chef, aims to create something a little different, but well executed. He deserves credit for that.

The place that sets your heart racing as much as it delights your taste buds?

«Cyril MolardCyril Molard (Ma Langue Sourit), doesn’t just throw things together; he puts his heart and soul into serving his customers. My first meal there: a starter featuring asparagus, quail and wild garlic. It was a revelation.

Your secret spot for healthy eating without sacrificing enjoyment?

Ryodo. Japanese cuisine without oil or cream – the focus is on the ingredients themselves; we don’t alter their natural flavour. It’s healthy by nature. And it tastes absolutely delicious!
