Christmas is in the air, and venues all over Luxembourg have planned a variety of activities to get you in the holiday spirit. Delano has chosen a few of these activities for you to check out.

1. Christmas at Philharmonie’s themed weekend event

Philharmonie Luxembourg is organising a special Christmas weekend with surprises from all over the world. The themed weekend for kids of different ages features concerts, workshops, food chalets and more activities. .  

2. Vegan Christmas Market

The Vegan Society Luxembourg is hosting the 7th Vegan Christmas Market. It is a family-friendly event in a fun atmosphere and includes 30 different stalls in this year’s edition. .

3. Yule Festival

Take part in the Yule festivities celebrated with a market that features multiple stands, raffle, film, live concerts, music, puppetry and more activities. .

5. Luca’s architecture book market

Shop for architectural books at the market organised by Luca. Eager shoppers began visiting the market when it opened on 10 December, but you can still make it down on the last day to pick up some architecture books for a small fee. .

6. Mesa Verde concert

Pianist and singer Fruz Tonteling is the guest artist at the Mesa Verde on Sunday. .

7. Cheap therapy: laugh at your problems

8. Sing4You performs carols

Listen to the Sing4You ensemble from the Conservatoire de Musique du Nord as they perform Christmas carols, jazz interludes and pop classics. .

9. Music awards show

The inaugural Lëtzebuerger Musekspräisser (Luxembourg music prizes) will be awarded at a ceremony at the Rockhal on 21 December. Entrance is free. .  

10. Queer Christmas party

Organised by the  LGBTIQ+ centre Cigale, the annual Christmas party will take place on Wednesday 21 December. .
