Quintet Private Bank is continuing to strengthen its governance. The private bank, headquartered in Luxembourg, announced on Wednesday the appointment of Joséphine Verine as a member of its board of directors. Ms Verine brings over 30 years’ experience gained in the luxury and private banking sectors, with a career focused on client development, brand strategy and business growth.

Joséphine Verine currently holds the position of senior vice president of clienteling, lifestyle and hospitality at Louis Vuitton. Since 2025, she has also been general manager for Germany and Austria, where she oversees commercial operations and client development in both markets. A Franco-German national based between Paris and Munich, she worked at Christian Dior, Chanel, Céline and Giorgio Armani before joining the LVMH Group.

A stint in private banking

Her career also includes a spell in private banking. Between 2016 and 2018, she served as chief operating officer and chief of staff for marketing and communications at the Lombard Odier Group in Geneva, where she led several strategic initiatives relating to the customer experience.

For Hugo Bänziger, chairman of Quintet’s board of directors, this appointment addresses the need to stand out from the competition. “Whilst technology tends to standardise competitive advantages, the ability to build lasting relationships based on trust is becoming a key differentiating factor,” he says. He believes that Joséphine Verine’s experience in customer loyalty will be “a valuable asset” to the board.

Founded in 1949, Quintet Private Bank operates in more than 30 cities across six countries. The group managed more than €105bn in client assets at the end of 2025, posted a CET1 ratio of 22.5% and reported a net profit of €66.3m for the 2025 financial year.
