Jack Ehlers has been named COO at Swissquote Bank Europe, which specialises in providing online financial and trading services. His responsibilities will include expanding the Luxembourg-based bank’s operational capabilities.

“Swissquote is a recognised leader in digital investing and I am very excited to join its Luxembourg-based team and contribute to its growth. My goal is to enable the bank to develop further and ensure the highest level of operational and technology excellence,” said Ehlers in a press release.

Ehlers has previously worked at other financial services companies in Europe, Asia and the United States, such as Paypal, Alipay and Bitstamp.

“Jack brings decades of experience in scaling fast-growing businesses, creating new products, and developing robust operational frameworks in financial services,” said Swissquote Bank Europe’s CEO in the bank’s press release. “Jack will play a key role in shaping the future of our company and ensuring our operational excellence as we expand our services into new products and new markets.”
