After being announced last June, the National Commission for Data Protection (CNPD) and AI Factory officially launched the Regulation Meets Innovation (Remi) initiative on Tuesday 7 October at the Digital Learning Hub premises in Belval. "This initiative aims to establish a structured dialogue between artificial intelligence players, regulators and digital experts in Luxembourg. It is based on the creation of a community of practice, structured around thematic working groups, practical workshops and conferences dedicated to technological and regulatory issues", explains the CNPD press release.
"Remi is positioned as a neutral and agile platform, promoting the exchange of knowledge and the co-construction of solutions to the compliance challenges associated with AI and digital innovation. To date, more than 150 participants from across the Luxembourg ecosystem – start-ups, large companies, public institutions, hospitals, research centres and regulators – have joined the initiative."
