Luxembourg designer Fanny Bervard, founder of the Romantico Romantico jewellery brand, receives the 2026 Young Entrepreneur Prize awarded by the Soroptimist International clubs of Luxembourg. The jury singled out her entrepreneurial journey at a ceremony on 11 March at the Hôtel Parc Belair, with the aim of supporting female entrepreneurship in the country.

Founder of the Romantico Romantico jewellery brand, Luxembourg entrepreneur Fanny BervardFanny Bervard was awarded the Prix de la jeune entrepreneuse 2026. The Soroptimist International Clubs of Luxembourg presented the award at a ceremony on 11 March at the Hotel Parc Belair in Luxembourg City.

The entrepreneur launched Romantico Romantico in 2019 with a collection of sustainable, handmade costume jewellery. The brand initially developed through several pop-up stores before opening a permanent boutique in Luxembourg City in 2025. The brand now also offers table decorations and clothing.

At the age of 35, Fanny Bervard studied fashion in Milan and then worked in New York and Berlin before obtaining a master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Luxembourg. This background feeds into the development of her brand and its establishment in Luxembourg.

The prize jury mentions her approach to design and aesthetics as well as the consistency of her entrepreneurial career. In her speech, the entrepreneur said, "This award is an achievement of my entire team."

She also affirmed her commitment to supporting women’s expertise, independence and creativity while creating "a safe and inspiring working environment".

An award to support female entrepreneurship

The Soroptimist International clubs in Luxembourg launched the Young Female Entrepreneur Award five years ago to promote female entrepreneurship in the country and to highlight women at the helm of businesses. The award comes with a prize of €5,000 and is open to female entrepreneurs under the age of 40 who have been running a business based in Luxembourg for at least two years.

The jury analyses the applications according to a number of criteria, including the entrepreneur’s background, the creation of economic or social value, innovation in products or services and the impact of the project. The ceremony was attended by the president of Soroptimist International Luxembourg, Christiane Koehnen-Boeres, the project manager, Joëlle LetschJoëlle Letsch, and members of the organisation.

The jury also awarded a distinction to entrepreneur Anne HarlesAnne Harles, founder of organic retailer Alavita. She opened her first shop in 2018 and now runs five outlets in the country.

Soroptimist International is a worldwide network of women from different professional backgrounds. Members are committed to improving the living conditions of women and girls through education, economic independence and participation in society. In Luxembourg, the organisation has 11 clubs and around 300 members.
